He didn't push anything though when I went with the option to just snake and unclog the drain cheapest option. I had Corbin out for a service call on our furnaces. He was on time, super helpful and knowledgeable. Was able to trouble shoot and diagnose the problem. Mike and Joseph did an excellent job.
They were very efficient, kind, and considerate—even cleaned my sink and restocked my cabinets when they finished. Thanks again : — David Costa Posted November 10th google. Murray was the technician sent to my home. He is an excellent representative for this company he was courteous kind very knowledgeable and extremely professional.

This is our second experience with AnyHour both of which were no less than excellent. Thank you so much for such great people and products. From the moment Jordan arrived he kept me informed about what he was going to do to resolve our kitchen sink drain back up.
He was polite, professional, informative and efficient. In less than 30 minutes, he had cleared the blockage and provided tips on how to maintain a healthy drain. He even cleaned the kitchen sink! Jordan is an asset to Any Hour Services. If any friends or family members ask if I know who could help them with a plumbing problem, or any problem for that matter, Any Hour Services will be the first words out of my mouth! Steve Thurman installed a thermostat that had been on back order on this visit.
He explained in detail, what he was going to do and then completed the installation by showing me how to program the new thermostat. He also suggested the right furnace filter to use to be compatible with the new system. My tech showed up on time and fixed everything I needed done.
I would use them again. She was kind, professional and eager to help me learn about my furnace. Jarrod came to help on a follow up call and it turns out it was user error, we forgot to tighten an air vent so it was making noise.
Jarrod did a great job finding the root of the noise and was super professional! We purchased a monthly VIP package because we are so happy with the services and protection we now have as first time homeowners. Thank you, Any Hour! Zorry was amazing. He was awesome to work with. Very professional and worked very efficient at solving the issue on my LG mini split.
This is a great company. Every step is explained and the work done professionally. Wonderful techs and prompt service. Any Hour repaired our furnace.
They were easy to work with from the moment of my call requesting service to the finishing of the necessary repairs. They were kind, very informative and kept me appraised through the whole process. We will never go anywhere else! Very professional explaining in detail about what he was doing and explaining all options over all a nice experience will definitely use again when needed — Teresa Green Posted November 9th google. Just because police officers are allowed to wear guns, doesn't mean that it is legal for them to shoot anybody they feel like. That would still be murder. If your contractor believes that nonsense, fire them, because they certainly can not work in your best interest at the same time they are charging you for additional work due to made up codes.
It is, IN FACT, illegal to make up codes on a whim, or simply because you feel like making somebody pay because you do not like the color of their hair. A contractor willing to perpetuate that kind of illegal discrimination by letting it happen should be charged as an accessory to the crime and have their license revoked. NEC Unless specifically permitted in UL standards further specify the limitations to include not putting a cord under a rug even if it is inside other protection because the insulation used on the wires is not designed for the heat buildup that occurs.
How high should modern contemporary wall tiles go? Thanks to all who gave feedbacks. From what I gathered, I think there are 3 options I can approach to fix this issue 1. Lower the tiles down so it is below the outlet. Prob 3ft? Raise the tile up to go past the outlet. Relocate the outlets by cutting the wall and placing it above the current tiles, then replace the tiles around the existing cuts. I think 1 and 2 may be most costly than 3.
Hi everyone, I am the one who started this poll. Here is more info including a photo of our kitchen in it's current state! It seems I may not have given enough info about my particular kitchen and for that I apologize. We have a 12' x 12' kitchen with 8 ft. The cabinets will go to the ceiling with a simple edge crown molding on top. We won't have any molding at all underneath the cabinets because it would have made the space beneath them look smaller.
There is a lip on the underside of the cabinets though that will hide our low profile encased under cabinet led light strips. I'm not sure of the exact distance apart, but it is similar to what the California codes are that were mentioned in one of the comments above. I'm not sure if we have any other code besides that one or not in our town regarding the height placement of outlets regarding weather they are placed high or low.
However as a layperson I did ask the electrician if I would be 'allowed' and is it 'ok' for me to have the outlets placed horizontally as high up on the backsplash as is possible under the cabinets. He told me 'yes' and also commented that in his 40 years of doing kitchens he hasn't had any other customers request them to be placed high and horizontally like that. Tomorrow I have to commit to outlet placement and after that there is not going back, now is my only time to do it if I wanted to change the location of the outlets they would have to cut out new spaces for them.
It had never before occurred to me to use 'Plugmoid' that some of you who have commented have mentioned. I'm sure I must have seen these somewhere at some point but It never occurred to me that they might even be an option, although they could be a good option. I think it is too late in the process though to consider them because I have to commit to the decisions about using 'outlets' that have already been agreed upon on Monday, and I won't have any time to research and find Plugmoid if I even wanted to go in that direction.
I can see the advantage with those Plugmoid of being 'completely hidden'. If we place our outlets up high horizontally which is the option after much consideration that we are currently planning on going with, those outlets will only be partially hidden.
So far in the Poll the 'high horizontal outlet placement' also seems to be the more popular option in the Poll. I apologize for not giving a third option 'other' for people to chose from. We won't have an extremely large backsplash and I hated the idea of marring our modest one up with 4 very obvious outlets. Professionals rarely use the push-in connections, for this reason. At the other end of the pigtail, connected the bare end to the circuit wires, using a wire nut or other approved wire connector.
Make sure no bare copper wire is exposed. Tug on the wires to make sure they are secure. If you are connecting a green grounding pigtail to a metal electrical box, thread the green grounding screw attached to the pigtail into the threaded screw opening in the back of the electrical box.
The free end of the grounding pigtail attaches to the other grounding wires with a wire connector. When metal boxes are used, there may be two grounding pigtails: one attached to the metal box, and one attached to the device, with the free ends of both pigtails joined to the circuit grounding wires using a wire connector.
With plastic electrical boxes, there will be only a single grounding pigtail linking the circuit grounding wires to the device. Once all wire connections are complete, tuck the wires back into the electrical box, secure the device to the box, and mount the cover plate. Turn on the power and test the operation of the device. Actively scan device characteristics for identification.
