I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator. The ending of this book was fantastic! This is the second book by Huggins I have listen to and he writes a very good story. The action and mystery he develops into the story is very entertaining. If you are the type that likes action then you will definitely enjoy this book. Alot of great action and intrigue. Gage as the MC is someone you really, really want on your side.
Mr Lennon as always is great as the narrator. That has more to do with my taste in a story line. This is definitely worth your time if you like the covert government type story. This audio was given to me free, and I voluntarily gave this review. I got this free for a honest and unbiased review, and that is what you are getting.
So this is my first book by James Byron Huggins and Tom Lennon, and i can now tell you that i hope it will not be my last, its just fantastic on both sides. Lets start with Tom Lennon, that now fast has become my favorite reader of books, when that is said he is also lucky having such a good book to read, You cant save a bad book, but lucky enough Tom has a just BIG and fantastic book to read to you.
So do i recommend this? Am i going to read more out of this? And i would say you should too! I was totally enamored The Reckoning it moved quickly and efficiency to the surprising end, and i read it in reality one sitting.. Really that good.. I will defiantly follow this author from now on with much anticipation.! I enjoyed this listen. A great job by author and narrator. This reminded me of a detective story by Dan Brown. Both the good guys and the bad guys are clever and determined and this keeps you guessing.
A suspicious attitude towards villains with religious authority carries the story along. The author knows how to let the story unfold without giving too much away, too quickly. The narrator does a great job of keeping you engaged in the story and helping the pace and story line move along enjoyably.
A terrific listen! I already have all his books and have been waiting not so patiently for the audiobooks. Excellent book. Maybe Kafer slightly better suited to narrate. I was a little concerned about the length here. Would it be slow moving? Overly descriptive and just plain drawn out?
No way, I loved it. They killed the sorcerer in the end. Add a reference: Book Author. Search for a book to add a reference. Comments showing post a comment ». Jun 07, PM. All of the books are on my website as ebooks. Thank you for your input. I have to tell you, Sir, that you are one of my favorite authors of all time. I have only read three of your books so far, Cain, The Reckoning, and Hunter.
Those three books, though, well, let me tell you! I have read each of them a minimum of five times. The darkness in man, the struggle, evil versus good, and all the lines that blur when the battle is joined.
